Technocrats suggest measures for stable evacuation of power
Ranchi, Apr 12 (UNI) Expert technocrats from NTPC, PGCIL (Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd) BHEL and JSEB have advised to upgrade the transmission lines from Tenughat to Biharsharif and Tenughat to Patratu from existing 220 kv to 400 kv for improvement of power situation in Jharkhand.
The tehnocrats made this suggestions at a meeting convened by TVNL here today to discuss on the stable evacuation of power from Tenughat TPS.
It has also advised to install one extra transmission line from Tenughat at Ranchi. JSEB will initiate this line in-coordination with PGCIL and TVNL.
It further advised to accelerate the maintenance activities for both the existing lines by frequent and regular patrolling of the lines. Also PGCIL to be asked to take action for maintenance of the Biharsharif transmission lines, in lieu of BSEB.
