SAAP to conduct summer coaching camps in villages

Hyderabad, Apr 12 (UNI) The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) will organise annual summer coaching camps in rural areas to promote sports and games at village-level, its Chairman M S Raj Thakur said today.

According to a press release, Thakur, who held a review meeting with the officials concerned here, said SAAP would also hold sports seminars at mandal, district and regional levels involving parents, sports personalities and educational institutions during this summer.

He said there was a necessity for the functioning of Mandal Sports Development Authority to promote sports and games in future.
