Rosaiah surprised over Naidu talking about corruption
Hyderabad, Apr 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister K Rosaiah today expressed surprise over TDP supremo and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, talking about corruption.
Reacting to the statement of Mr Naidu, questioning what the Congress Ministers and MLAs were if Maoists who were collecting crores of rupees from the contractors were 'robbers', Mr Rosaiah said Mr Naidu appeared to be trying to gain the sympathy of the Maoists.
Talking to mediapersons along with the Rural Development Minister D Srinivas, he said Mr Naidu should not stoop to such levels to make baseless allegations.
He said it was the government that had seized the money being doled out to the Maoists by contractors and not the TDP.
He alleged that the TDP which was asserting that it was not against irrigation projects was trying to create every possible hurdle in their construction, as completion of the ongoing irrigation projects would put a big question mark on its own existence. UNI JRK ROY YA HS2115
