New Delhi, Apr 12 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to demand inclusion of all tribals in the state in the 'Antyodaya Anna Yojana' under which rice and wheat are given at subsidised rates for families living below the poverty line.

The Chief Minister, who met Dr Singh at the Prime Minister's Residence, also sought inclusion of backward districts of the state under the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.

Dr Raman Singh said only 35 per cent of the families below poverty line in the tribal state were currently getting the benefits of the 'Antyodaya Anna Yojana'.

If the Centre agrees to the state's demand, it would help 300,000 tribal families, he added.

He urged the Prime Minister to include Raipur and Durg districts under the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
