Paswan to attend rally at Ambedkar's birthplace

Bhopal, Apr 12 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) President Ram Vilas Paswan will be the chief guest at an April 14 birth anniversary rally to be organised in the Military Headquarters Of War (MHOW) area, which is Bharat Ratna Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar's birthplace.

''The rally's aim is to further Babasaheb's philosophy of building an egalitarian society. Party Senior Vice-President Phool Singh Baraiya will be a special guest,'' LJP state supremo Sunil Borse told reporters here today.

Accusing both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party of adopting divisive policies, he added that the two parties proved unsuccessful in fulfilling Dr Ambedkar's dream of building a society thriving on equality, friendship and brotherhood.

''At the rally, LJP workers will resolve to follow Babasaheb's principles and policies to concretise his dreams,'' Mr Borse explained.
