Mild earthquake measuring 4.4 rocks Andaman

New Delhi, Apr 12: An earthquake of slight intensity shook the Andaman and Nicobar Islands this afternoon.

The quake, measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 1326 hrs, India Meteorological Department said here.

It was epicentred in the Andaman Islands.
