Leaders condole death of Rajkumar

Bangalore, Apr 12 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa condoled the death of Dadasaheb Phalke awardee and doyen of Kannada film world Rajkumar today.

Mr Yediyurappa said the death was a great shock to the people of Karnataka and the country as Rajkumar had rendered yeoman service to take Kannada films and culture to a new high.

Ministers Hanumanthappa U Alkod, Ashok and Katta Subramanya Naidu, Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council H K Patil and former Union Minister C K Jaffer Shariff also condoled the death of Rajkumar.
