Iran enrichment not in line with UN demands -China

UNITED NATIONS, Apr 12 (Reuters) Iran's assertion that it enriched uranium is ''not in line'' with demands by the U.N.

nuclear watchdog agency and the U.N. Security Council, China's top diplomat at the United Nations said today.

''It is not in line with what is required of them by the international community,'' including resolutions of the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency and a statement issued last month by the Security Council, Chinese U.N.

Ambassador Wang Guangya told reporters.
