Intelligence official killed and another injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 12 (UNI) An intelligence official was killed and another wounded in a militant attack at Tral, in south Kashmir this afternoon, official sources said.

They said two officials of an intelligence agency were on their way to Srinagar from Tral, when militants resorted to indiscriminate firing on their vehicle near Tral town.

One official died on the spot and another was wounded critically in the firing, they said adding that the militants later managed to escape.

Security forces have launched a massive operation to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
