Indian cinema has lost a distinguished actor: PM

New Delhi, Apr 12 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has expressed shock and grief over the death of famous Kannada actor RajKumar.

''In his death, the world of Indian cinema has lost a distinguished actor, whose achievements would be remembered for a long time to come,'' Dr Singh said in his condolence message to the actor's family.

Describing RajKumar as a versatile personality, he said the actor enthralled the nation with his histrionic talents and mellifluous voice over the past five decades.
