Hungary's Orban withdraws as PM candidate

BUDAPEST, Apr 12 (Reuters) Hungarian opposition leader Viktor Orban today said he would withdraw as candidate for prime minister.

Orban, leader of the main conservative party Fidesz, said he would propose a prime ministerial candidate from the minor opposition party the Democratic Forum, but he did not specify who the candidate would be.
