Gulbarga records maximum temperature of 39 deg celsius
Bangalore, Apr 12 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations by the weather office recorded at 0830 hours today.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 39 degree celsius over the State.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.
Chief rainfall amount (cm) Sringeri, Balehonnur 4 each Subramanya, Tarikere 2 each Jayapura 1.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and remained normal over Interior Karnataka.
Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts of Coastal Karnataka and Gulbarga, Raichur, Koppal, Gadag, Haveri, Dharwad, Bijapur, and Belgaum districts of North Interior Karnataka and Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Shimoga, Kodagu, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Mandya and Tumkur districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka&South Interior Karnataka.
