Ghani Khan still critical

Kolkata, Apr 12 (UNI) The condition of former Union Minister A B A Ghani Khan Chowdhury remained critical today as he continued to be on supportive measures.

''His condition is still very critical. He is on supportive measures for his blood pressure, pulse and kidney functioning,'' a medical bulletin said.

The heavyweight Congress veteran was flown in here from Malda on April three by an Air Force helicopter following abdominal pain and acute respiratory problem. He was put on ventilation after being admitted to a private nursing home.
