Canbank Factors post 27.93 pc growth

Bangalore, Apr 12 (UNI) Canbank Factors today announced a 27.93 per cent growth in factoring volume for the fiscal 2005-06 at Rs 2,592.44 crore, with the funds deployed growing by 45.08 per cent to touch Rs 586.36 crore.

The company, in a release here, said the factoring volume for the previous fiscal was Rs 2,026.38 crore and funds in use being Rs 404.17 crore.

The company had earned a profit after tax of Rs 13.25 crore, marginally up from the previous year's achievement of Rs 12.57 crore, the release said.
