Barnala condoles Rajkumar's death

Chennai, Apr 12 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala today expressed shock and grief over the demise of Kannada thespian Rajkumar.

In a condolence message to the actor's wife, Parvathamma, he said Rajkumar was a versatile actor who had won an array of awards.

''He was a darling of the masses and a demi-god to millions of his fans. His death is an irreparable loss to Kannada film industry,'' he added.

The Governor conveyed his sincere condolences to the bereaved family members. ''I pray that his soul rests in peace,'' he said.
