Air Chief arrives for two-day visit

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 12: Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal S P Tyagi arrived here today on a two-day visit to the Southern Air Command headquarters.

He was received at the airport by Air Marshal S Y Savur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Air Command, a release said.

Later, he proceeded to the SAC headquarters at Akkulam.

He would address the Air Force Commander's conference and also interact with Airforce personnel.

The commanders would be updated on the latest developments in the security situation in the country.

The future requirements of Southern Air Command and possible infrastructure addition would also be highlighted in the discussion.
