3 hurt in boiler explosion

Vijayawada, Apr 12 (UNI) Three persons, including a woman, were seriously injured when a boiler exploded at a mechanised dairy here this evening.

Police told UNI the mishap occurred when the staff were sterilising flavoured milk bottles.

The injured were admitted to a coporate hospital here where the condition of one of them was stated to be critical.

Meanwhile,Dairy General Manager Babu Rao announced an ex-gratia of Rs 50,000 to the injured.
