UDF alienates persons of integrity: Vijayan

Pathanamthitta, Apr 11 (UNI) Communist Party of India (Marxist) Kerala secretary Pinarayi Vijayan today said the ruling United Democratic Front (UDF) had a history of ditching those who supported it during election time and this had alienated it from persons of integrety.

Addressing an election meeting at Vadasserikkara, he said the UDF which came to power in the last elections, later insulted the political parties and communities who lent support to it.

Mr Vijayan said that those who demanded release through bail of People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nasser Madani kept mum when they won the election last time.
