PM to present Ramnath Goenka Journalism awards
New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will give away the first Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards here tomorrow.
Named after the founder of the Indian Express group, the awards cover the entire gamut of Indian media including urban and rural reporting and print and broadcast.
There will be an award for investigative reporting as well as Journalist of the Year and Journalist of the Future awards.
The winners are chosen by a distinguished panel of judges including Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad Director Bakul Dholakia, Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy and film-maker Shyam Benegal.
