Kanchi Mutt to construct a Hospital in Bangalore

Mysore, Apr 11: Kanchi Shankaracharya Sri Jayaendra Saraswathi Swamy today said that Kanchi Mutt will soon construct a Hospital in the outskirts of Bangalore.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that the Karnataka Government has already allocated five acres of land for the purpose and work will begin soon.

Kanchi Mutt has already constructed a 100 bed Hospital in Shimoga.

Earlier, the swamiji was given a traditional welcome. The swamiji offered performed pooja at Chamundeswari temple atop of the Chamundi Hills. The swamiji also offered pooja to the idol of Sri Shankaracharya which would be installed in the Mutt premises here on April 23.
