iGate Global Q4 profit dips 17.7 per cent to Rs 5.25 cr.
Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) iGate Global Solutions Ltd., has posted a net profit of Rs 5.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 (Q4 FY 05-06) as compared to Rs 6.38 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal.
Total income during the Q4 financial year 2005-06 (FY'06) was Rs 150.91 crore as compared to Rs 111.90 crore for Q4 0FY'4-05.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 3.09 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 (FY'06) as compared to Rs 26.73 crore during the previous fiscal.
Total income was Rs 563.87 crore for FY'06 as compared to Rs 450.42 crore in the previous fiscal.
The company has recommended a dividend of 30 per cent which was just double of the previous previous year amounting to Rs 3.73 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.
Commenting on the results,iGate Global Solution Ltd., CEO and Managing Director Phaneesh Murthy said, ''The past year saw us acquiring a promising list of Fortune 1000 clients, who will drive our revenues.
There is a growing optimism about the order pipeline and we are on the path of growth and predictability of revenues''.
