Hero Honda workers put down their tools

New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) Workers of Hero Honda, the country's second largest motorcycle maker, have gone on strike here since yesterday.

Official sources said around 2500 contractual employees have put down their tools since then.

Sources say that the matter could be linked to Hero Honda de-recognising its Union two months back.

An official statement from the company is awaited later in the day.
