Fire in Vasant Kunj burns more than 500 huts

New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) More than 500 huts of South Delhi's Vasant Kunj jhuggi-jhopri clusters were burnt in a fire this evening.

The fire, which started from the near Masoodpur Village at 1641 hrs was brought under control at 1820 hrs, according to the Fire Brigade.

''However, there were no reports of any casualties or any one being injured so far.'' Twenty-two fire tenders battled for more than one-and-a-half hours to bring the blaze under control.
