Bus ploughs into Eid procession killing two, injuring three

Shahjahanpur, Apr 11 (UNI) An Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus ploughed into a Eid-ul-Milad-un-Nabi procession here today, killing two people including a minor and injuring three others.

Police said here the accident occurred near the Puttu Lal crossing when the bus of the Hardoi depot ran over the people in the procession. Gausiya (10) and Ashfak (25) were killed on the spot, while three others sustained injuries, police added.

Agitated over the accident, local residents blocked the road at the crossing and demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in incident.
