BSP releases second list for Pondy polls

Pondicherry, Apr 11 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) today announced it's second list of candidates for the May three and eight Assembly elections in the union territory.

Addressing a press conference here, BSP State President Thanga Kalaimaran said Party President Mayawati would participate in the electioneering on May five and address a public meeting to introduce the candidates and relese the election manifesto.

The candidates in the second list are: Raja Pathar (Nellithoppe), Seenu Sundaramurty (Kuruvinatham), MOKA Venkateshnara Rao (Yanam), Suba Suresh Raju (Nedumgadu), R Jeevanandam (Kottucherry), M Shankar (Karaikal), K Selvamani (Karaikal-South), M Selvaraj (Neravi) and Sadique Ali (Thirunallar).

The BSP had earlier released the first list of eight candidates.
