Bajaj launches 'Platina'
Bangalore, Apr 11 (UNI) Bajaj Auto Limited today launched 'Platina' a 100 cc motorcycle to further strengthen its position in two wheeler market.
Speaking at the launch Company Vice President Marketing (Two wheelers) S Sridhar 'Platina' was all set to redefine current benchmarks in the highly competitive 100 cc segment. The company aimed to sell 75,000 vehicles within three months.
The base version had been priced at Rs 34,000, while the hi-end version with alloy wheels would available for Rs 36,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Mr Sridhar said that the company was the market leader in 150 cc plus segment of motorcycles with 61 per cent share during quarter four. The company has been maintaining steady growth in two wheeler market since last three years.
