3 IAS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow, Apr 10 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred three senior Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers in the state.

Mr Ashish Kumar Goyal, district magistrate of Barabanki and Mr Ramashankar Sahu, special secretary, transport department, swapped postings, while Mr Sudhir Garg, managing director, KESCO, Kanpur, has been made secretary minor irrigation department.

Meanwhile, Ajay Kumar Joshi, who was holding twin portfolios of panchayati raj and minor irrigation departments as principal secretary, has been released from the latter department obligations.
