12 injured in attack at Mathura

Mathura, Apr 11 (UNI) As many as 12 people including nine members of a single family were injured in an attack by a group of unidentified assailants at the Vrindawan Vidyapith crossing here today.

Police said here that a group of 24 assailants hurled bombs and indulged in firing in the busy market at the Vidyapith crossing in Vrindawan, wounding nine members of family from Haryana and three others.

The injured including an infant have been admitted to a private hospital, police added.

Raids were being conducted to nab the absconding assailants.
