Reddy hints at ordinance to resolve sealing drive

New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) Urban Development Minister S.Jaipal Reddy today said the people of Delhi affected by the sealing drive of the MCD need not worry as the Government might bring an amendment in the law or,if necessary,issue an ordinance.

"The Government will go to the Supreme Court to explain to it the difficulties coming in the way to resolve the issue,"Mr Reddy said inaugurating a bridge here.

Mr Reddy said the Government was serious to protect the source of livelihood of the traders and other people affected by the ongoing demolition and sealing.

Chief Minister Sheila Dixit was also present on the occasion.
