Prajapatham in Dist in 2 phases

Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh) Apr 9: 'Prajapatham' (administration at the door steps of the people) campaign will be held in 1,380 gram panchayats and 226 municipal wards in two phases in the district.

In the first phase, 963 panchayats and 154 municipal wards not covered under Indiramma scheme, will be brought under 'Prajapatham' from April ten to 28, according to District Collector S S Rawath.

The second phase of the programme will be implemented in 417 gram panchayats and 93 municipal wards covered under the Indiramma scheme. It will be held from May seven to 12, he said. The programme would focus on drinking water, power supply, employment, ration cards and 25 paise interest loans to self-help groups, he added.
