Pcp hails centre for sending central team

Tirupati, Apr 9 (UNI) The Praja Congress Party (PCP) today thanked the centre for sending a 12-member medical team to the temple town to get first hand information on the spread of +Chikun Gunya+ viral disease in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

In a telegram to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, PCP founder-president Narra Munichandra thanked the Prime Minister for taking immediate action.

He urged the Prime Minister to ensure that sanitary and medical measures were taken up on a warfooting for the affected patients admitted to government hospitals in Chittoor district.
