Mulayam claims situation improving in Aligarh
Kanpur, Apr 9 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today claimed that the situation was improving in the riot-hit city of Aligarh.
Interacting with newspersons here Mr Yadav said that situation in Aligarh was under control and fast improving.
Terming as ''baseless'' charges of opposition parties that the government had failed in tackling the riots in city of locks, Mr Yadav said the government was doing its best and the situation was fast improving, he added.
The CM who was here to condole the recent death of Chaudhary Harnam Singh, son of UP Awas Bandu chairman Chaudhary Harmohan Singh, announced that an auditorium with a 1000 seats capacity will be constructed at the Meharban Singh Ka Purwa here.
