Mine recovered during encounter

Bokaro, Apr 9: Police recovered a 30 kg landmine during an encounter with CPI(Moist) ultras in Jhumri hill of the district today.

No casualty was reported from either side, the police said.

Police suspect that the ultras had planted the mine as Director General of police V D Ram was secheduled to visit the area today to inaugurate a newly constructed school building by CRPF jawans and the police. The DGP is yet to arrive there, sources said.
