Berger paints to set up production plant in Russia

Tirupati, Apr 8: Berger paints, a premier company, will set up a production plant in Russia soon.

Speaking after inaugurating the Tirupati depot, the 73rd in the country and fourth in Andhra Pradesh, Managing Director of the company Subir Bose said the company was poised for growth, with the boom in the housing sector.

The company ranks second in the decorative paints segment of the 9,000 crore paints industry in the country.

He said the company recorded a turnover of Rs 1,100 in the year 2005-06.
