Gorakhpur-Mumbai spl train from 12

Gorakhpur, UP, Apr 9: North Eastern Railway (NER) will run a special weekly set of trains between Gorakhpur end Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, Mumbai between April 12 and June 28.

NER spokesman here yesterday said the train would run every Wednesday and Monday from Gorakhpur and Mumbai respectively.

The special train would leave Gorakhpur at 1300 hrs and traverse through Deoria, Mau, Azamgarh, Shahganj, Jaunpur, Allahabad, Manikpur, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusawal, Nasik, Igatpuri, Kalyan and Thane to reach Lokmany Tilak Terminal at 003 hrs, the next day.

Similarly, it would leave Mumbai at 1320 hrs and reach Gorakhpur at 2115, the other day.

The train would comprise 17 general and two SLR coaches.
