Farmer suicide continue despite govt package.

Akola, Apr 9 (UNI) Two debtridden farmers from the Warhad region commited suicide during last 24 hours, police sources here said.

Identifying the deceased as Ananda Namded Golait (35) of Tankehed village in Akola taluq, police said fed-up with mounting debts and other liabilities, Golait ended his life by jumping in front of a running train near.

Preliminary investigations show that regular failure of crops and overburdening of loans had forced him to commit suicide.

In a second tragic incident another debt-ridden farmer Vijaysing Tanusing Jadhav of Bendi Mahala village committed suicide by consuming poison, police added.
