Congressmen attack AGP president's car

Tezpur, Apr 9 (UNI) Congress supporters today pleted stones at Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president Brindabon Goswami's vehicle at Fifth Mile, near here.

However, the AGP president was not Hurt in the incident.

His personal security personnel whisked him away.

Mr Goswami was returning after visiting party workers in a nearby place to ask them to maintain peace in the face of any provocation.

He had received reports that rival factions were provoking AGP workers and had gone to reassure his partymen.
