World Billiards champion M Chitra felicitated by KSBA

Bangalore, Apr 8 (UNI) Just crowned World Billiards champion M Chitra was today felicitated by the Karnataka State Billiards Association (KSBA) here today.

KSBA President Pandu Prakash presented a Cheque for Rs 50,000 to her at a function in which former World Billiards Champion Pankaj Advani and Karnataka Olympic Association President K Govindraj and large number of well wishers were present.

Speaking on the occasion Chitra said she was thrilled in winning her first world title.

'' It was my maiden title and I want to bring more and more laurels to the Country.'' Sports Writers Association Bangalore (SWAB) also honoured M Chitra with the Association President Kalyan Ashok presenting a Cheque for Rs 5,000.
