Three die in Russia hostel fire
MOSCOW, Apr 8 (Reuters) Three people died in Russia today when their workers' hostel caught fire, Interfax news agency reported.
Fireman rescued a seven-year-old girl from the hostel by throwing her from a fourth-floor window. Rescuers on the ground used a carpet to catch the girl.
Nearly 300 people were evacuated from the building, in the Ural mountains city of Yekaterinburg, Interfax reported. Emergency services said the cause of the fire was unknown.
