Three asphyxiated in bio-gas tank

Palakkad, Apr 8 (UNI) Three people were asphyxiated when they entered an abandoned bio-gas tank for fishing at Alanalloor, near Mannarkkad, in the district yesterday.

The deceased were identified as Raju(30), Chathan(36) and Girish alias Ponnu Kuttan (17).

Even though they were rushed to a nearby hospital, they died on way.

They came to Alanalloor from Mannarkkad to take part in a marriage celebration of a relative.

The eight feet-deep tank was in disuse for the last six years and it was used for fish-rearing.
