People facing hardship following SBI strike
Kohima, Apr 08 (UNI) The State Bank of India strike, which entered the sixth day today, has put the people in docks.
While salaried people are facing acute hardship for not getttng their salaries in time, the business community have expressed frustration for poor business due to lack of cash flow.
The SBI officials were putting the onus on the state government for not withdrawing the money for salaries in time as the Bank had given two days time to withdraw the same on April one and two last, while all the Central government offices in Nagaland, including the BSNL, had withdrawn their salaries on Sunday last.
Meanwhile, due to failure of the talks between the SBI unions and the Centre, the SBI decided to continue with their agitation with no immediate solution to the imbroglio in sight.
