One naxal killed in encounter

Adilabad, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 8 (UNI) One naxal belonged to the CPI(Maoist) party was killed in an encounter with the police near Sakera village in this district today.

Police said Hanumanthu alias Karan, Narnoor Dalam Commander, was killed in an encounter, and the other two naxals escaped from the place.

One sten gun, two 303 weapons, kit bags and gilletin stickes were recovered from the spot, police added.
