Official inquiry into police firing

Daltanganj, Apr 8 (UNI) The Jharkhand government today announced an official level inquiry into the police firing at Bishrampur yesterday in which two persons were killed and about 25 others were injured.

Finance Minister Raghubor Das accompained by DGP V D Ram and home secretary J B Tubid today visited the spot and took stock of the situation.

Mr Das also handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the members of each of the deceased.

He assured to provide a government job to one member of the each of the families of the deceased.

The minister visited the hospital and inquired about treatment given to the injured persons.
