Indian, English teams leave for Guwahati
Kochi, Apr 8 (UNI) The Indian and English teams left here this morning for Guwahati for the fifth one day international to be played there tomorrow.
The two teams left by a chartered GoAir flight from the Nedumbassery International Airport around 0830 hrs. A large number of cricket enthusiasts were present at the airport to see off their favourite players.
Meanwhile, some members of the Indian team, including Coach Greg Chappell had a ''farewell treat'' at medium pace bowler Sreesanth's house here last night. Besides the coach, the other guests at Sreesanth's house 'Taj' included Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina, R P Singh and Robin Uthappa besides the team physician and trainer.
The guests were treated to a typical Kerala meal including 'karimeen fry', 'kozhicurry', 'avial', 'pachdi', 'mango pulssery', stew and ''pradhaman payasam' besides rice.
Sreesanth's parents Santhakumaran Nair and Savithri Devi besides his brother, two sisters and their families were present on the occasion.
