Bajaj Electricals' 15 cr fabrication unit at Ranjangaon
Mumbai, Apr 8 (UNI) Bajaj Electricals today inaugurated its new 15 crore fabrication plant for high mast and octagonal poles at industrial estate at Ranjangaon near Pune.
The plant is in sync with the growing market demand and there is also a plan to add another manufacturing unit, a company release said.
Quoting the CMD Shekhar Bajaj, it said, '' the company will be investing another 30 crores this year into another world class manufacturing facility to further enhance companies galvanizing&fabrication facility to introduce new high-end products in the market which will tremendously drive the overall strategic growth.'' Company's engineering&project business unit vice president Lalit Mehta said "over the past 5 years we have been successfully involved in the design and fabrication of customized street furniture with designer brackets in numerous prestigious projects, besides foraying into the field of signages for petrol pumps and highways/expressways like the western and eastern express highway of Mumbai and transmission line tower business, which is bringing in the volumes and high growth. " The engineering&projects business unit clocked a sale of Rs.
267 crore in 2005-06 achieving a growth of 38 per cent over the previous year and a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 62%, the release added.
