Abu Dhabi Malayalee award bestowed on MT

Kozhikode, Apr 8 (UNI) Noted film personality and writer M T Vasudevan Nair was bestowed with the Abu Dhabi Malayalee Samajam literary award here today.

The award, comprising a purse of Rs 10,000, citation and a plaque, was presented to him by Kozhikode Mayor M Bhaskaran at the former's residence at a function, according to a release.

A judging committee comprising eminent poet O N V Kurup, Dr M M Bahseer, writer Perumbadavam Sreedharan selected Mr Nair for the award, the release added.
