Woman delivers quintuplets; all die

Bhopal, Apr 7 (UNI) A young woman gave birth to quintuplets- four boys and a girl- at a private hospital here yesterday, but the underweight babies died within hours, doctors today said.

The woman prematurely delivered two children in a normal way, but others were born through ceasarian section, Hospital Director Dr M Das said today.

Dr Das said the four male babies died immediately after birth, while the female baby died late last night. The mother is safe, he added.
