Vehicles brought under heavy escorts due to blockade

Imphal, Apr 7(UNI) The Manipur government has been escorting Imphal-bound vehicles to counter economic blockade called by Zeliangrong Students' Union (ZSU) and Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) demanding repair of the road which connects Senapati district with Tamenglong district.

However, some trucks were stranded on National Highway 39 in Manipur-Nagaland border.

Movement of passenger buses was normal.
