Twenty-one take ill in Palanpur

Palanpur, Apr 7 (UNI) At least 21 people, including 7 women and 3 children, of the Selempura localty here were admitted to civil hospital after they took ill due to some unidentified viral fever since Thursday evening.

According to civil surgeon B K Limbachiya, the admistration itself was taken aback as a large number of people began to throng the hospital from the same locality of the town.

He said initially, they suspected the fever to be dengue, but the tests were negative.

Dr Limabachiya said that a detailed report in this regard has been submitted to state government, and special measures were initiated to prevent further spread of the disease.
