Prevent Rajasthan Anti-Conversion Bill from becoming Law: GCIC
New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) Several Christian organisations today staged a protest rally against the proposed Anti-Conversion Bill of the Rajasthan government.
The rally organised by the Global Council of Indian Christians later submitted a memorandum to the President, Prime Minister and Home Minister demanding that the Bill be stopped from taking form of a law.
The protestors said Christians in Rajasthan under the present government were being harrassed and their places or worship being attacked.
The Bill would provide an additional handle to the trouble mongers not to just regulate conversions but also cripple the right of minorities to propagate their faith, they added.
